Features · Callback Routing

When they call back, they reach the right person.

A voicemail only works if the callback lands somewhere useful. Gabriel sends each message from a number in a rotating pool and forwards return calls to the phone number you set for the campaign, so the personal connection the voicemail promised is exactly what the contact gets.

  • Calls forwarded to your team
  • Rotating number pool
  • Callbacks tracked per contact

How it works

How a callback finds its way to you.

Step 01 · Setup

Set a callback number

When you set up a campaign, you choose the phone number that return calls should ring, usually the rep who owns those contacts.

Step 02 · Pool

A number is assigned

Each voicemail goes out from a number in Gabriel's pool, and that number is tied to the contact and the campaign.

Step 03 · Callback

The contact calls back

When they return the call, Gabriel knows which contact is calling and which campaign they are responding to.

Step 04 · Connect

Your rep answers

The call is forwarded to your callback number and recorded against the contact, so you can see who responded.

Why it matters

Every voicemail should end in a conversation.

Protects your personal number

Messages go out from a rotating pool of numbers rather than your own line, which helps keep your personal number from being flagged or blocked.

Callbacks reach a real person

Every return call is forwarded to a real phone on your team. No phone trees, and no AI pretending to hold a conversation.

Callbacks you can measure

Callbacks are recorded per contact and can be exported, so you know which campaigns start conversations.

What you control

You choose where calls go. Gabriel gets them there.

You control

  • The callback number for each campaign
  • Which rep handles which campaign
  • How your team follows up with contacts who called

Gabriel handles

  • Assigning a pool number to each message
  • Matching callbacks to the right contact and campaign
  • Forwarding the call to your number
  • Recording the callback in your reporting
Before you start

Good to know about callback routing.

  • Caller ID is a pool number

Recipients see a number from Gabriel's pool, not your personal or office line. Your callback number is where their return call ends up.

  • Routing has a window

Callbacks are matched to a campaign for a set period after the voicemail goes out. Ask us how long that window is for your account.

  • A backup in the message

If a contact cannot be given a dedicated pool number, the voicemail ends by saying your callback number, so they can still reach you.

No. Messages go out from Gabriel's number pool, and return calls are forwarded to the number you choose.
